Trenchport, AL — An escalating crime spree rattled the city late Saturday night, when a group of four suspects ransacked a local pharmacy and attempted to firebomb the home of Trenchport’s Chief of Police. Authorities have confirmed the involvement of one known individual, while three additional female suspects remain unidentified as of press time.

The overnight attacks are the latest in a string of violent incidents that have kept Trenchport Police scrambling for leads.

Suspect Information

The Trenchport Police Department identified one of the suspects involved as Lennox Santiago, a known local offender. The three additional suspects, all adult Caucasian females, have not yet been positively identified but were captured on surveillance footage and described as follows:

  • Two females with long brown hair, believed to be in their twenties.

  • One female with long blonde hair, noted for wearing skull-pattern face paint.

  • One heavier-set female with short, dyed pink hair, partially concealing her face with a cloth covering describe in police reports as the 'thicc one'.

Authorities emphasized that while Santiago’s involvement is confirmed, the others are considered unidentified and dangerous. All four suspects fled the scene together and are presumed to be acting in concert.

Pharmacy Robbery Details

At approximately 11:00 PM on April 26, 2025, the suspects forcibly entered the Trenchport Pharmacy at 101 Federal Avenue by shattering the east and west side windows. According to the police report, the interior of the business was “extensively ransacked,” with shelving units overturned, refrigeration systems damaged, and inventory scattered across the floors.

The suspects managed to breach the pharmacy’s in-house safe, clearing it of its contents, which authorities believe included both cash and pharmaceutical narcotics. Investigators noted a strong odor of spilled alcohol throughout the crime scene, likely linked to molotov devices observed later.

Surveillance footage from inside the pharmacy recorded much of the destruction before the suspects disabled or destroyed at least three cameras.

Partial and full latent fingerprints were recovered from various surfaces. Preliminary forensic analysis matched prints to two unidentified suspects, later linked to a red flannel shirt fiber snagged on broken glass during entry.

Arson Attempt at Chief’s Home

Shortly after fleeing the pharmacy, the group was captured by neighboring bank surveillance cameras driving a red pickup truck. As they exited the area, witnesses and footage show the pink-haired suspect brandishing and lighting a molotov cocktail.

The incendiary device was thrown at a nearby residence, later confirmed to be the private home of Chief Marcus Dawson. The molotov caused localized burn damage to the home’s external siding and porch area. Fire crews responded quickly, preventing further ignition and minimizing damage. No injuries were reported inside the home.

The bottle remnants recovered at the scene were identified as a brand of beer sold predominantly at local establishments. Chemical analysis by the Fire Department indicated the accelerant used was a mixture of standard 80-proof liquor and gasoline, a signature similar to firebombs used in previous recent attacks across Trenchport.

Authorities confirmed that the same chemical profile has been linked to the April 17th firebombing of TPD vehicles and the April 21st arson at two tattoo shops, suggesting a possible pattern and coordination among suspects.

Community on Edge

The bold nature of the attack — targeting both a business and a high-profile city official's home — has left residents shaken. Dog walkers and late-night pedestrians nearby witnessed the events but were unharmed. Police sources indicate that investigators are reviewing additional neighborhood surveillance footage to piece together the suspects' full route after the attack.

In a statement early Sunday morning, Chief Dawson assured the public that the department is “pursuing all available leads” and vowed that "those responsible will be brought to justice."

“We will not allow intimidation or violence to dictate how we serve this community,” Dawson said.

Charges Recommended

Police have recommended multiple felony charges for those involved, including:

  • Robbery

  • Burglary

  • Criminal Mischief

  • Arson (with enhancement for targeting a public official)

  • Reckless Endangerment

  • Felony Fleeing and Evading

The case remains active, and additional charges may be forthcoming as the investigation continues.
