Dear readers, last few days, Trenchport Tribune had received not only video footage; but also various pictures of a building on fire at 103 Government Drive.

So following the leads, I went on the scene, where the stench of fire was permeating the air, lingering like the plague ominously even the day after the incident. It was clear if not by the smell then by the look of the building and the debris something horrible had happened.

However, right there on the spot I had spotted Chief Roberts, the very man that is responsible for the TFD and the safety of our city from dangers of fire. He had been so kind to answer a few questions and give me an interview which you can read below.

ree

Reporter: "Okay so Chief Roberts, we have gotten a few anonymous tips and pictures about this building being on fire. Could you perhaps tell us at what time this incident happened and is there any casualties?"

ree
"Dispatch received a call last night (12th of July) regarding a gas leak at this address, we were dispatched out at approximately seven thirty. During the course of the incident, a firefighter was severely injured and succumbed to his injuries."

Reporter: "Sorry to hear that. It must not be easy on anyone in the department. But was this gas leak due to pipes being wrong or do you suspect some foul play in works?"

ree
"At this time the investigation is still ongoing so it wouldn't be right to say much. I will say that there were two distinct explosions encountered during the incident, whether the first one was suspicious or not we can't be entirely sure as it was a backdraft incident with the gas that had been exposed. But the second was done by...An explosive device, which most definitely is foul play. But to the extent of foul play, we're trying to find that out."

At this point, dear readers, it had become apparent that I needed to find Chief Dawson from Trenchport Police Department and have a word with him about the case.

Before departing, Chief Roberts had something else to share

"That is probably all that is appropriate to comment on at the moment, I appreciate you looking into the story, a lot of things happened that shouldn't have and we are looking for justice to the fullest extent of the law. The Trenchport Fire Department does not condone crime that places lives at risk and will prosecute to the fullest extent." -Chief Roberts

Before I went to find Chief Dawson, I had been doing some of my very own investigation. It was important. Why you might ask? Well, I will highlight it at the very end of this article.

Eventually, I had found Chief Dawson working at the reception desk at the jail. This is how that went.

Reporter: "Ah chief Dawson, just the right person I wanted to talk to" offered him up a smile. Mind if I ask you some questions?"

"Who the fuck are you?" (He then noticed the lanyard and the pad in my hands noticed the lanyard and the pad and pencil in my hands.) "Tribune.. Ok. What the fuck do you want?". - Chief Dawson

Reporter: "Well, I wanted your statement on the explosion the other day. I've had an official statement from fire department so figured you'd want to say something on it too. Like date and time of the incident, your feelings on it and such"

"Well, the incident from the other night your referencing is part of an active investigation, and as such the Department does not comment on ongoing investigations, or have any further information available for the public at this time. What exactly did Roberts tell you? Has he provided you a copy of the report yet?". - Chief Dawson

At this point, Chief Dawson made his way around the counter, and closer to me. The only, useful bit of information that Chief Dawson has provided was the following

"The TPD has assigned Sergeants Colby Voronina and Seth Davis to look into the incident and investigate it forthwith, along with assigning a Captain, Dan Morgan, to assist them where he is needed, as well as be an intermediary support for the TFD during their time of loss. There is no suspicion of a crime at this time, However, we are going to do our job and diligently look into it none the less.". - Chief Dawson

What is he hiding? Why not admit to foul play, when it is clear by Chief Roberts that there is foul play in works? What is Dawson really hiding, and why was there such a level of hostility, and seeming worry when he thought I'd have seen the report?

Something for you dear readers, to ponder on. In the meantime...

I had realized something. I've went to visit the mall that was on fire before this, the Bail Bonds specifically, and had seen a symbol there, the exactly same symbol that is in this video below, of the building on fire.

Upon doing my own research, the symbol itself is very similar to the Chaos star. This is what Wiki says about it:

"The Symbol of Chaos (also known as the Chaos Star) originates from Michael Moorcock's Elric of Melniboné stories and their dichotomy of Law and Chaos. In them, the Symbol of Chaos comprises eight arrows in a radial pattern. The symbol has been adopted in tabletop games such as Warhammer and Dungeons & Dragons, as well as modern occult traditions, where it represents chaos magic. It has also become a symbol of political movements such as contemporary anarchism and Eurasianism."
ree

As we can see, this isn't the typical symbol the arrows are slightly re-arranged and there is the letter 'A' in the middle of it. I am assuming this is some sort of a statement about Anarchy and Chaos.

Did these things found their way to Trenchport, but in a form of perhaps a new gang? Or is it a wicked individual trying to send some sort of a message? A cult, perhaps.

Dear readers, I suggest you be on the lookout and take care of yourselves and your loved ones.

If you have any information about this symbol and who might have done this, contract the Trenchport Tribune with the information.
